TELACU Education Foundation Celebrates 25 Years of Building the Dream

On May 30th, the TELACU Education Foundation celebrated 25 years of Building the Dream of higher education for Latino young people! More than 1,200 corporate, educational and civic leaders gathered at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza to recognize this year’s 600 outstanding TELACU Scholars. Honorees from past celebrations were also acknowledged for their support and commitment to our young people. 

The highlight of the evening was the finale—during a beautiful rendition of Andrea Bocelli’s “The Prayer,” the stage was filled with sponsors, dignitaries and this year’s scholarship recipients. These young men and women represent the many thousands of TELACU Scholars who have successfully earned their college degree and are now building the American Dream for themselves and their communities.
